WHICH AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
Dog walking: Oakland neighborhoods of Rockridge to Laurel, and Glen Highlands to Piedmont Pines. Check with us to see if we service your area!
Cat sitting: Oakland, Emeryville, and Berkeley.
WHAT IS THE TIMING FOR MY DOG TO BE PICKED UP AND DROPPED OFF?
In general, pups are picked up for the day's first walk within the 10-11:30 window and drop off between 12:30-2pm. Second adventure pick-up window is 1-2:30 and drop offs between 3:30-4:30. The times vary for each dog depending on location, traffic, and weather conditions.
DO THE DOGS GET DIRTY ON WALKS?
We are happy to wipe your dog down with a towel if needed. Sometimes there are streams or ponds in the areas where we walk, and although we try to minimize muddy occasions, we can’t guarantee we can always keep playful pups out of puddles. Whether your dog gets dirty depends on several factors—where we take the dogs, what the weather’s been recently, and whether your dog enjoys getting dirty. Most off-leash trails are dirt roads and therefore, prone to getting muddy on rainy days. Please provide a towel by your front door for wipe off.
HOW DO WE GET STARTED?
If you’re interested in having your dog join our group adventures, let's discuss the needs of your pet and to see if we are a good fit, over the phone. Then schedule a 15-30 minute meet and greet with a private solo walk. Let's get started, send direct message through our contact page here.
WHERE DO YOU GO FOR ADVENTURES?
Adventures locations vary daily. Some of our favorites include: Redwood Regional Park, Sibley, Anthony Chabot, fire trails along the Oakland hills, Cesar Chavez Dog Park, and Joaquin Miller.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Adventures are billed monthly regardless of cancellations or vacations. Reschedules are allowed if 48 hours notice is given in advance.
House sitting and cat sitting:
canceling within 48 hours to scheduled sitting will incur a charge equal to half the total amount for sitting duration.
WHAT IS YOUR FIRE/SMOKE POLICY?
During fire season or whenever the air quality is compromised, we may need to cancel the walk for our health and the health of your god. We monitor the air quality daily using the website www.purpleair.com. We’ll send updates via email or text on the morning of a hike.
-AQI 0 to 149 on the day of the hike: hikes will take place as scheduled, but may be modified or shortened based on conditions at the time of the hike.
-AQI 150 or above on the day of the hike: hike will be cancelled. Alternatively, you have the option for a short neighborhood potty walk (this may be solo or with a small group of dogs).
